Our Play Therapy Process

1. Connect

We offer an initial consultation either over the phone or through email to help you determine if Inspiring Play: Play Therapy is suitable for your child’s individual needs.

2. Plan

A parent/carer intake meeting is conducted without the children present. We discuss your child’s developmental history, strengths and individual needs. Goals for the child and family are established during this meeting, along with planning future appointments.

3. Play

Play Therapy sessions commence weekly, with your child attending therapy sessions at the same designated time each week. Appointments are scheduled in advance for consistency and convenience.

4. Play

Parent consultations to review the child's progress occur every 6-8 weeks.

5. Thrive

The conclusion of therapy takes place after observing therapeutic changes and achieving goals established with parents/caregivers. This includes follow-up recommendations and a gentle transition process.
